DIAMONDRIDGE DIMBA

Dimba was born on  16 october 2013 in Britain, he was bred by Lindsey Barnes, Diamondridge Ridgebacks, well-known Ridgeback breeder and FCI judge, and imported into France.

Since then, he can be seen increasingly at shows, with excellent results in the ring.

Dimba's first litter was born on 16 December 2016 in Netherland .(12 puppies=6 boys & 6 bitches)

The second litter was born on 28 January 2017 in France.               (14 puppies =8 bitches & 6 boys)

The third litter is for October 2018

"DIMBA" - DIAMONDRIDGE DIMBA  

Previously always having female dogs, Dimba is my first "boy". I find him very affectionate, and so attached to me.  Could this be unique to the male Ridgebacks?

My interest in this wonderful Rhodesian Ridgeback breed originated more than 12 years ago.

My first Ridgeback was a very beautiful female, Aella. She had the nose the colour of liver: a  "livernose" Ridgeback. Tragically, Ayella passed away at 8 years old, due to a fatal general anesthetic.  She left a huge void in my heart.

When the time came that I felt ready to start looking again for a Ridgeback, my choice was a male, as I didn't want to compare a puppy with Aella. Looking for a livernose male puppy and not finding one in France at that time, I went further afield to England, where breeders Diamondridge Ridgebacks had a litter, with a livernose male puppy.

I imported this puppy to France: DIAMONDRIDGE DIMBA.
